On weekends, my dad is my boss but during the week in the summers, I hate my boss. He's a cheap bastard basically.

My boss is a hard worker, but still enjoys a good bit of slacking here and there. He's outspoken, sometimes should keep his mouth shut, but again he's outspoken ya know? My boss also has little patience for stuff that isn't working when it should be, and whatever it is usually logs some flight time before meeting it's demise. Never takes the time to really figure out why it's not working, he just destroys it and buys a new one.

Oh yeah, my boss is me.

I'll be damned if this isnt the description of my father and me on the jobsite... sometimes in construction chit just isnt going the way it should at that particular moment in time and I will admit that I can go from cool headed to the meanest azzhole on the planet like someone turns a switch on and off, and my dad is exactly the same. Now that times are slower and we have laid off every employee and its just me and my old man, it is much calmer now and stuff gets done the way we want because we dont have to rely on employees to do exactly what we want... kind of a good thing really

My boss although as a great guy to have a friend, somehow by no real business knowledge has managed to be in business for 10 years. He never shows up in the morning and whatever time he chooses to show up he's an unbelievable jerk to everyone till he's drank a coke or two and hides in the back. He stall is the sloppiest place in the building and it overflows into mine. He starts projects and expects me to finish them for him. which sucks as he's a disaster, His tool box is the biggest black hole I know of. He leaves in the middle of the day for whatever he feels compelled to do and lives off money from tearing off a finger in the army and me. If I flag more than twelve hours a month I pay my own wage plus for the whole month. And I haven't gotten a raise, or even a "good job" in two years. I struggle to live pay check to pay check and he plays all the time. I'd feel better if he just stayed away from the shop and just owned the place, and we never saw him. that's my ***** I'm done

I do have to say overall my boss is a great guy. He would loan you money if you need it to make a car payment or if you are short on rent. When my truck was down he let me use a company pick-up for almost 2 weeks. But like i said when he gets crazy you just have to let him say what he wants then he will cool down. He dont really yell at me too much but i see how he is with some of the laborers. If he yelled at me the way he yells at them i wouldn't be working there.

You rock!!!

I have a wonderful boss!! Nothing really to complain about except when he goes on and on and on about something and then I give him that look and he pauses and says oh ok, back to the point.
