Home page

Is the last 3 months articles supposed to be at the top of the homepage or is it a mistake? Also, is there a way that you can minimize the google ads, "buy a car here" ads and whatnot and they not come back up everytime you refresh the page? When I minimize everything, my buddy list is lined up with the first topic on the homepage. Then, when I refresh the site, all the ads are there again

They claim you get less but I don't think I noticed any less. Actually, it seems like there's more and more all the time
