Quick Idea about Threads

I find myself wanting to give feedback to certain reply's in threads....I am not talking about written feedback. I keep looking for a like button, or a "rate the Reply button"

You have a great feature in the "rate the Thread" function. It sure would be nice if we could sort through the Forums/Threads/Replys by filtering only those replies that have a certain number of "likes" or a certain "star" rating. Especially in some of the longer threads like the builds, or the picture stickies.

Just an idea....I know you are probably still doing all the upkeep yourself, and I don't know much about writing computer programs/code, but if this is an easy addition, I think it would add some great functionality to our ability to sort through the great info on the site.

We can implement a "like" feature plugin.

We would like to here more feedback from the community if a 'Like' function would do well in the forum.

regards,

MD

A few forums I'm active on have the like feature. It does pretty well, makes it easier to get your point across that you agree with something rather than the quote and "+1". My favorite forum has the like and a STFU button, that comes in handy quite often as well lol.

Thanks for considering the option....I think it would do well, especially since so many people are now using FB.

A like button with an unlike capability would be a nice feature ....I don't think a STFU would be appropriate since a forum should not suppress opinions or ideas. Maybe an AGREE or CONCUR button would be beneficial. Don't see a need for any other buttons.

I think that feature would be a great idea! Many of us have talked about something like that before. If you can make it happen I think it would be beneficial.

We are checking on the compatibility of the plugin with the current site software which is running on vBSEO 3.5.2. I will keep you guys posted if this feature can be added on the site.
