As you might notice, a good number of my posts are on the joke thread but I was thinking a Humor sub forum under "Off Topic" might be a good place to centralize the sense of humor many on the Powerstroke.org forums have..

I think that's a great idea, we can do that. Do you want child forums under the main one for different subtopics - ie. Video's, Jokes, Darwin Award, etc.?

YEAH I KINDA ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT TOO JUST DIDNT HAVE THE BRAIN TO MENTION IT.

A HUMOR SECTION WOULD BE A GREAT IDEA TO POST SILLY PICS AND WHAT NOT

Lets not get carried away and break them up sooo much that one subforum will have 2 topics and another will have 400. I say a subforum for "All Humor" would be sufficent. With just a tad over 500 active members I don't think we have the ability to fuel multiple child folders for just "humor" on a powerstroke forum. Now, if we had 20,000 members I could see 5/6/7 subfolders.

Reason I say this? We did something similar on www.brickcity.net (I'm a Moderator. but I'm best friends with the Admins since all 4 live in my town) and all but 1 of the folders fell inactive very quickly.

Good point Maintain.... The advantage to a subforum for this is that you can start a new thread for a new piece of humor and comments to that single thread can be done by individual viewers... Probably no real need for too many child folders yet at the same time you might not want some things getting buried too deep (like Darwin awards ) ....

Alright guys I've added a "Humor" sub-forum forum under the Off Topic parent forum and left a 1 week re-director to the Joke threads, to give folks a chance to get used to it being moved. I didn't add any sub-forums to it, I just left it. If y'all decide at some point you'd like subs just let me know. I was thinking of just a coupe like "video and Pictures", "Jokes" and maybe "Darwin Awards" just so when we reach 50,000 members folks are having to search through 10 pages to find a funny video someone posted. Anyway I'll leave it up to y'all.
