help me make a decision

I am currently a Dodge 2500 SLT owner cummins of course It is a tow vehicle for me. I have a long tow ahead and my truck has 98K on it and I am concerned about the trans. I began looking for a new or new to me truck. I am looking at a 6.7 F 250 or 350 to do the job. I want more comfort and luxury in this one.
Can't seem to locate a long bed F250 Lariat, dont know why. I found an 11 King Ranch long bed with 8800 miles on it. your thoughts, ideas I'm towing a 24 enclosed heavy trailer nowhere near limit on either.
please give me your thoughts advise.
Thanks.

The 6.7 will tow that trailer without a sweat. And you may be able to find some old 2012's with CRAZY amounts off sticker. I wouldn't be surpised if you could get 15k off sticker for a new 2012 truck now. Ask the dealer to try and locate a long bed King Ranch/Lariat for you.

Thanks...I am having an impossible time trying to locate a 2012 or a 2013 F250 long bed. NO big discounts either.
Do I need the long bed for stability on towing or will the 6.5 do the job comfortably? I know the truck can

I'm assuming your trailer is a 5th wheel? If so, I'd want the long bed. If it's just a bumper pull I'd go with a short bed. As for finding a truck, go into any dealership and find you one. Give them a couple days and if they really want your buisness, they'll find you one.
