7.3l into a 6.0l swap

have a 2004 with a 6.0l, had the idea of taking the a 7.3l with the transmission an electrical an putting it in my truck. Only problem is the 7.3l is a 2 wheel drive and my 04' isnt, so the question is could i use the transfer case off of the 6.0 an put it on the 7.3 transmission?

Wow. Sounds like a lot of work. You probably will need an adaptor for the xmsn. Probably new drive shafts, xmsn mounts. You might be better off keeping the torqueshifter xmsn and see if it will bolt up to a 7.3. I don't know, sounds like a good long job maybe some fab work. Good luck, I would stick with the 6.0. that's just me.

Then either pull the engine and rebuild/bulletproof the 6.0 and call it a day or buy a remaned/bulletproofed long block and throw it in there and call it a day.
