Bully Dog PMT and egr delete

I am new to ford and diesel. I just bought 2007 f250 it has 4" exhaust and I have a down pipe coming and I am also getting rid of cat. convertor. It allready has S&B filter. I also just bought sinister basic egr delet kit and bully dog pmt before I done enough research which is my bad. What I want too know is will the bully dog PMT take care of the cel from not having my egr anymore? I read that '07 models will detect that the egr is not working. Also is there anything else I need to do besides just the basic egr delet do I still need to upgrade the cooler or will the factory one do fine? I forgot it has had the stud job I dont want to race I would love to have horses when I want them but manly better MPG and all I pull is bass boat.

Any help will do. I payed more money and got basic solution egr kit from sinister. I have begun mandifold removal and still not sure about bully dog and CEL from not having egr valve anylonger.

Get rid of the bully dog and buy a sct and order a custom tune.

Thanks I dont know what kind of tunes it still has if any but no sct just emblem on tailgate.

I am lost on the programmer part after I bought bully dog all I read was sct for 6.0. Do they still make a in dash or do I not need one. I really want MPG but when I need or want more power I would love to have it.

The sct is a programmer for the 6.0 that you can get custom tunes emailed to you for it and you load them on the programmer than plug it in the truck and program the truck then pull the programmer out and your good to go as the programmer reflashed the PCM with the new tune.

what kind of info do you need when I am finished with the engine. I am thinking of getting trans. redone so that way I will pretty much have all the problems fixed. Also is this program safe to use when I go 4X4

Yes the sct is the safest programmer for the 6.0 and your fans is good to hold 550+ rwhp with proper tuning alone which is why the sct is so good for it.

I don't need any info on the engine or truck all I can do is get the programmer for you. You would then have to contact the tuner of your choice and have a custom tune written for it.
