Locked threads

what is the deal with locking threads around here? one person gets butt hurt or figures it has "ran its coarse" and locks it.. what gives? i know there are a few threads that should be locked but since an almighty "mod" started it it can not be locked?? and when they are locked "mods" will unlock them to put there two cents in then re lock..

and we dont unlock it....just to clarify....we can post in ANY thread, locked or not. its our privelidge.

and I second(third?) what Eric says. its not about getting butt hurt, its about the CoC and us(the staff) up holding it

nothing bothering me.. just a question.. i just noticed on here more than any other forums...threads are always getting locked..

Well, we try to run a family friendly site. We don't like banning people, so most times it's easier to lock a thread that's gotten out of hand/off topic than running people off

Mods do not start threads to ruffle feathers. alot of the threads that get closed are out of hand for one reason or another. we try to have a family site here.
