Classifieds Section

Is there any way you could change the classifieds section to make it where you have to be a member for certain amount of time or have a certain number of posts before you can place a "for sale" ad? Some people only join for the purpose of selling or scamming. I think it would provide some additional safety for members and keep the scammers away. Just an idea. Thanks

We have the iTrader feedback, and the feedback section in the for sale forums. Other than that, Common sense is your biggest tool.
Not trying to be smart, but it's true. People just need to use their heads when buying from another member. There are probably only a couple dozen members I would buy from out of the 100,000.

We also have a 3rd party shipping option via the staff.

It costs a hair more in the end but its well worth it.

The buyer and seller agree to a price.

Send payment and item to site staff member. If both items are received. Payment is forwarded and item is shipped. If payment isnt recieved seller gets item back
