smilies arrangement

Is there any way the smilies can be arranged so they don't change position every time we open the 'more" selection.

Each time they're in a different place on the list and I have to hunt for the one I want.

Also is there anyway to add the smilies that we use the most to the ones beside the text window. The bottom couple of rows keep rotating different ones. Could we just put the ones we use in those rows instead.

Thanks

Good idea, i've thought about it myself, but I have been trying to just memorize the code instead. Some other boards have all of the smilies in a larger box with all of them and it seems to work out pretty well.

Yeah, I am not sure if this can be done or not. I have heard of other boards letting you choose. Maybe one of the admins will see this and chime in.

Adam, the thing I dont like about that is that you have to scroll a good ways once you are done typing out your message.

Yeah, I guess that could be a little bit of a pain if you still had a traditional mouse without a center scroll bar...having to go over and slide the bar up/down. I use my laptop and just slide my finger up/down along the right side of my touch pad and it automatically scrolls the window for me, makes it real simple. You don't have to scroll down that far anyway, really.

I wouldn't mind trying to personalize it but I would be content if they would just stay put in the smiley window.

I do the same, but it is nice to have the submit button in the same screen as where you type your message. JMO
