Rotm

Rod........I think that the theme based ROTM sounds great!!!!!!
When I go to car shows I like to see rides in all classes and in all stages of completion, from original or work in progress to all-out show custom. Everyone here should have a shot at it...........we all have a certain amount of PRIDE IN OUR RIDE......otherwise we wouldnt be hanging out at this site.

Yeah exactly -
That way we're always pitting rigs of the same caliber against each other and one month someone with a rusty 'ol huntin' rig might win and the next the expensive trailer queen show truck. It's about how your rig stacks up in it's class.

The most important is getting the members to put photos in there garages ,,, We end up doing a theme based on the prize ,,, Like 2nd gen prize we put up all 2nd gens ect.... If the prize is for everyone then we will first go for Show and Dough , then No Show All Go , Then No Go or Show To accomendate our PSD members

I voted for Dog3434 in this mths ROTM

Good lUck with the program , We have had better luck desinating a Lead to deal with the sponcers and ect so 15 people dont have 15 diffrent plans and sponcers scheduled for the same mth ect... Too many Chiefs Not enough Indians Kind of thing .

The Utmost hardest thing you will do is try to pick a level playing field !! Ive tried like Hell to keep the race close as possible , even removing some Big Boys that are for sure winners so 3 normal guys can compete ALL IN FUN ,

As we have saved the Big Boy in each contest ,,,, were on our 3rd and have all the Big Boys thrown in for the 4th contest

Most people just look at the photo and Vote ,,,, one may have 300 Hp the others 1000 but if one has after market rims and the others have stock rims then the after market guy will run off with the poll .

Its a good Idea when you have the contestants picked to send a Mass Email to all members anouncing last mths winner and the new contestants with a direct link to the thread , This wont only let the contestants know there in the ROTM but it will prompt inactive members to visit to atleast vote .

Great Admin and Mod team here on PSF , The whole deal should run Smoooth !

Good Luck Sister

DM

As always thanks DM and thanks for the compliments. You and your folks over there should know we feel the same way about you guys - no kiss a$$ here at all, y'all just run a great forum. I liked the way you guys were running the ROTM and took a lot from it. You've some great points and spot on with the e-mail going out to everyone - I plan on working on that tomorrow. As I'm sure you know this can become a full time job.
So what did you do to brainwash lem into wanting a friggin Cummins?

I think he just Pulled His Head out of his a$$

LOL Just Kiddin Andy loves all diesels Like my self , They all have there good points ,,, I drove a Bombed 2006 or maybe it was a 2005 either way it had the torque shift 5 speed auto ... OMG SWEETT !!!!!!!! KUDOS to FURD !!!! That tranny rocks ! then I looked under the hood .. Man oh mighty what a cluster *&^$ ! Loved the almost tubular Control arms but what the hell is with them Coils EEK there going to brake , Also Truck ran Like Mad Once you got to 20 PSI ,,, before that is where the Cummins Will rule , the Low End torque of the Inline 6 is what makes it so sucessful IMO It gets up and gets going Hooked to the sled or on the track ,,,, A Easy Fix you would think would be to throw on a WEEE Little Ext. Housing on the 6.0 but cant do that because the PYRO is already outragious and it would Blow the head gasket in no time , Oh Wait Im rambleing on again ....

Why Did Andy Go to The Cummins ..... Track Record !........ And the Record on the Track

ROTM rules.......its also posted in the ROTM section.....

here are the rules for ROTM

the month before the voting there will be a nomination thread......the four nominees in the particuar catigory that is listed with the most votes will be in the poll the next month and up for the prize of ROTM....if you are nominated but your truck does not fit in the catigory listed (IE....if its a "best looking bone stock truck" and your truck is lifted....you will be excluded). Also, you may not nominate yourself....although you MUST vote for yourself if you make it into the poll

All vehicles nominated MUST have a PSD in it...i dont care if its a ford, dodge, chevy, RV, truck, or a boat (yes....we actually have a member with a PSD boat)....its not a FORD forum....its a Powerstroke forum....so any....and ONLY vehicles with PSD motors in them can be nominated

No member will be allowed to be nominated (actually in the poll) two months in a row.

No member shall be eligable for nomination for 1 calender year after they win ROTM

All members....general, supporters, mods, admins, techies...ETC ARE eligable to win ROTM, but that months sponsor is inelligable since he would just be winning something from himself. Also, i will take care of the prize if a sponsor wins and sells similar merchandise as the sponsor for the month, since if he already sells the stuff he doesnt want to get it from someone else......

In the case of a Tie, the member with the most nominations will win. In the case of a tie for nominations, the member with the earlier join date will win

Good luck and have fun guys!!!!!.......Marc
