I have a couple of thoughts here

One: We should also have a WTB (want to buy) forum section

Two: we really need to promote this site. I saw a truck going through town today that I would loved to have told them about the site, but needed a flyer/business card/etc. type of thing to give to them so they could remember the site name.

Three: A window decal sticker for out trucks. This would require a logo with the name incorporated into it. I will try to come up with some rough draft ideas on photoshop. If anyone wants to throw in some ideas or make some of their own that would be great.
It is really no big deal to get the actual stickers made or flyers made, so lets start getting some ideas out here. Post anything you might have, thoughts, good pics, etc.

What would the "Want to Buy" have in it?

I've thought about cards and such, what would be the best thing to do? Have cards made up and then send them to you guys? Or, create an Avery Card template in Microsoft word that could be downloaded to your comuter? I was also thinking, if I get cards made, that we would have a place for the referrer name. That way, when they join the site, they might put "turbotime" as the referrer, and then maybe we would have prizes for the most referrers.

Stickers would be awesome. If you guys want to make a killer logo, I would love to see it!

Yeah Turbo has some great ideas. I'm not big on stickers but I'd put a PSF.com sticker on my truck in a heart beat if someone could come up with a sweet logo.......coure I'm a redneck so it would have to have something about trains, momma, trucks and gettin' drunk......oops sorry that's a song I like - Uh a sweet logo would be great!

Oh when I said "PSF.com" I was only abbreviating. What ever you think fits buddy - PowerStrokeForum.com or .org works for me......still gotta look cool though.

I think powerstroke.org just because its short and easy to remember. The only concern is people getting it confused with powerstroke.com...which doesnt even exist so we are ok. I tend to like logos that are cool and simple. Not so busy that people dont know what they are promoting.

Good points. easy to read, short (easy to rememeber), cant go wrong when advertising with decals for a car/truck forum.

PowerStroke.org sounds GREAT! You need to have a logo contest or something......maybe the winner can get PacMan playing lessons from Harley or something. :p
