I went to the bank today to deposit a check from a job I just finished. As I was pulling out of the drive-thru, there was a man there with a small boy and he flagged me down, told me about where he lived and that he had a wife and 4 more kids at home. He then asked if I could help him out. I wished I had a condom with me to give him so they would quit making babies they couldn't support.

I'm all about helping people in need but if I was in his situation, there are several teps to take to help yourself without begging.

It's hard to tell who really needs it and who is just too lazy to work these days.

I won't give anyone money but I will offer to buy them a meal or something. Usually they just keep asking for cash and when it comes to that they don't need any help money wise.

I was in a hurry to get back to the job I was working on and didn't have time to help them. I had concrete drying and it was over 90* here today.

I think its funny how people will ask for gas money and you say you will go to the gas station to get them some gas and they just keep coming up with reasons why you should just give them the money to get it instead of you going and doing it for them
