WORKING ON TURKEY DAY?

If so, post up here. Let all the others know how much IT SUCKS to have a job that requires your attendence. Talk about your job and why you actually HAVE to work on this holiday!

Well I guess people still break down on Turkey day in the MD, VA, and DE area, so someone's gotta dispatch tow trucks to them LOL....

Not this year but out of the 15 years I have been in the Navy this is only my 6th Thanksgiving at home.

I tried to convince the warden to let all the inmates go home. Taking there word that they would comeback tomorrow. But he wouldn't take my word for it. So I am sittin here babysitting adults again behind bars.

Well, in my 9.5 years in the Awesome (insert sarcasm here) US Navy, I've been off for Thanksgiving 3 times...and this is NOT one of them. I'm at work, tired (b/c I didn't get any sleep last night) and I have 6 more in a row after this one.

Why am I required to be here? Well, I work on a 24/7 watch floor and someone has to be there to protect everyone at home and incase the terrorist a-holes decide today is a good day to blow up some infidels.
