Hahaha I actually got a chuckle out of that... I am a member of the duraturd forum.. Joined for a fried who ended up with a pretty bad 05 LLY... Idaho Rob build tranny.. Eflive with robs tunes.. Tie rod sleeves for 4x4 launches... Fass lift pump.. Etc etc... 625ish to the groud.. It was a pretty mean ride.. Anyway.. He had the money to spend so I learned as much as I could for him.. But this was back when the 6.4s first came out and I remember seeing a few threads about the duramax guys who
Thought they had something lining up against a 6.4.. It was very funny reading about them.. I felt like a mouse in the wall haha.. At least they give the ol' ford props... Gotta respect that

I'm gonna say he will. I've only been in a couple of d maxes but i drove a 6.4 running the 345hp kem tune. That thing hauls a$$!! It's insane. But he's only running Spartans 275 so

yeah i chuckled when they said the spartan would run all over them and then gave a list of mods that cost $$$$$$$$$ just to beat a 6.4 with a spartan.

Wow. It's cool that they gave props to the Ford's strengths.

I have never been vehicle brand specific, so I often don't understand when some people get so defensive about their trucks. (With that said my F-350 has been my favorite truck to date, and I've owned pretty much everything else)

OP: how do you like your Federal couragia's? I am thinking about them for my truck.

Buddy of mine ran a 9.6@74mph with a 2wd launch in a 05 Mega. 5" exhaust and smarty 100hp tune. 35's on 20's. Blew my mind. 4H actually raises his time. Truck cant turn the tires over from the tree and it bogs down. In 2wd he was over .4 sec slower than me but almost 2mph faster. Cummins are weird...

Edit: I was on 35's at the time with the same mods only a PPE 160 tune.
