I liked it. Showing everything smoking from a diesel is what most people think about when they hear the term 'diesel' anyway. If BMW can make it work to their advantage, good for them. Btw, I'd love to have a 335d.

I like my smoky truck, and its not slow like the diesels in the commercial. But that tractor trailer was probably loaded to 80k pounds so now wonder it's not as fast as a 400 some odd horsepower BMW.

I actually work at a BMW dealership. (not that it matters). I thought it was a good commercial because I, just like probably most of you, want more ppl to buy diesels. That way, th price of it goes down. Personally, I think diesel is the future. And yes most of our trucks blacksmoke and what not, but, I think the commercial was good, because most people dont think of diesels as anything but semi trucks that blacksmoke everywhere. And BMW had another commercial on the superbowl that said they were made in usa. And yes that is true, most are made in south carolina and georgia I believe. I still have the stong opinion that BMWs are made to break, but thats just my 2 cents.

PS: the 335d hauls ***.

I thought it was a little dramatic but I think that car is sweet. I really like that blue one in the commercial. If I was gonna have a fancy car it would be a 335d or a cadilac cts.

That's why I didn't like it, cause of all the emissions now. I know not all diesels are big smokey pigs, mines not. But to people that don't know that diesels are the way to go, wants to get rid of them and push hybrids.
