Mini and Black Maxx

I have been kicking around the idea of going with either the Mini or the Black Maxx for my 09 F250 6.4. I was wondering if I could bounce a couple of question off you and get some info. First off I am not ready to take off my DPF or Cat so I want to make sure that I can even run this on my truck without damaging it. I was also wondering for someone like me that doesn't like to get into the nitygrity programing if the Black Maxx is what I am lookking for. I like the shift on the fly along with all of the out of the box programs that the Mini has to offer. I just don't know if I will ever regret not getting the options to program that the Black Maxx has to offer. If your not into dyno testing or drag racing the truck will the Mini do everything I would need.

I noticed the Black Maxx has trany tunes. Does the Mini? I just assumed that the language in the advertisement was meaning you could adjust your trany tune with the Black and that the Mini has the trans tunes built into the overal tune. Any clarifcation would be great.

Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from you with some helpful advise.
MJ

I know this is sometime later, but I just called and was told they are exactly the same...

No difference. So why spend more on the black maxx when the mini maxx is the same...

you just cant use the active maxx tuning with the mini.other than that they are the same.but if you want custom tunes they will help you with that.the mini will do everything the black will and the mini has seperate tranny tunes as well.talk to cassy at h&s.they are great people and they answer questions without selling their product.they only want their customers to be happy.pretty awesome company.i was gonna go with the mini but found a smoking deal on a the black used.

Well when I called the person I spoke too did not act like he wanted to answer any questions, sounded like he didn't know what he was talking about and kept asking if I had checked their website for answers to my questions.

its not a tow tune persay but you could use any.mine is not on but i know a lot of people use the mild 80 hp to tow and some are using the hot.and h&s does custom tuning for free so if you asked for a tow tune they would probably be willing to work with you for one.
