Crater Lake/ Labor Day!

Well its official, we are going to Crater Lake over Labor day weekend. We will be leaving from Portland very early saturday morning (sept 3rd) and returning later in the day on monday the 5th.

I will probably put this on a few different sites to draw some more people. From what ive heard Brandon and Robert are coming down in the 5th wheel, anyone else in!?

Most likely we will be camping somewhere other than the lake as im sure its already over booked for that weekend

Its a pretty lengthy drive for most, i didnt expect much in the way of responses.

My idea for a GTG, lets get everyone to drive as far as possible for a major holiday. Sounds like a great idea!

It has nothing to do with being a GTG, its about friends getting together and going camping. Brandon came up with the idea and texted me saying we should round up some guys and head down there.... So we are inviting everyone else.

Hate to break it but if no one else responds we will still have a fantastic time and probably get extremely hammered with the rip azz

Sweet! Glad to see it's official! I'll call my bud who runs a RV park here and see if we can't get a group discount or something for you guys coming down! I'll be there for sure, pending any fires that I may have to go on

sounds fun and not too far for me this time.... just so you know, there's no camping at Crater Lake, but you can get into Diamond Lake which is close by and you can get reserved spaces - I've camped there the last couple of years on Labor Day. Last year there were spaces open that weren't reserved spots.... FYI
