Alrighty its about time to get a helping hand with my project ive got started!

Im sure some of you guys have some things your wanting to get finished up as well.... Trevor, your twin pumps? Matt, your lift? Brandon, a 38r? Anyone else have something they want a little hand with???

Well ive got the shop. We can get 5+ trucks in it to stay warm and dry. We have air and electricity, but we dont have 220 for the welder.

Shop is located in Mulino Oregon.


When would you guys like to see this happen? Im thinking end of january early february! I will AT LEAST have my fuel system and turbo to do.

Well when they get here i guess. Transmission is paid for and just needs to get here, studs/springs/pr's need to get ordered here real soon.

I am trying to get in touch with Mark about using his shop for that. I dont have a tranny jack or the spring tool or a lift to jocky the motor around for the studs.

You better get on that, I would be more then willing to help. Contact Mark as soon as you can to set up a good time. He has been pretty busy lately. I am sure Gordon would be too, but you better be ready to work.

I have the spring tool, I don't think Mark has a tranny jack, Gordon has a nice hinged torque wrench. You don't need a lift to jockey the motor around, just a floor jack and a 2x4 under the exhaust manifold.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to sound proof the firewall the best you can while the turbo is out and tranny!!!

Get all that ordered!!

I just used a floor jack with an adapter plate for the tranny. The problem I had was it was too tall. So I had to grab a fork lift to jack up the front end to slide the tranny underneath.

I want my current transmission to sell so im not dead out of funds, i like to keep a little savings haha. So once that sells im ordering!

I will do the sound proofing good idea! I appreciate the offer steven. I am definitely ready to work, i just need guidance since ive never done it.... I know gordon taught you so pass it on down the line haha!
Oh and you sure you have a spring tool? Gordon says he has yours

Well get that trans sold. It took me about a year to sell my running trans for a 1000...

yeah thats what im afraid of! But its not just running.... its actually built up with a good TC, clutches, shafts etc.... It just wont hold 550hp with a warranty haha.

naw im not worried, if worst comes to worst ill advertise it for 700 which will cover the springs/PR's/ studs..... and no your not allowed to ask where im getting them for that price
