NHRDA @ Cordova, IL. April 25th

Just throwing this out there. I see that the NHRDA will host a regular season points race at the Cordova Dragway park on April 25th, 2009. I don't have any other details yet, but I am planning on going to this one as its only about an hour away from home for me... Any takers? It would be nice if we could get something together for the day, and good support for a great organization such as the NHRDA!

Thats about 2 hours away from me. It's been a couple years since I've been there I might have to take Jr up there and let him see the cars. Last time I was up there was right after he was born so it will be almost 3 years in June.

I'm planning on entering the E.T. brackets. Don't have to be fast to do well. I would encourage anyone who wants to have some fun to do the same. The more trucks we could get to run, the better the chance of the NHRDA returning to the area is my reasoning... Hope to meet/see as many of you there as can make it...

It depends on how much it's going to cost to run. I'm trying to get a couple other people to come up with me.

I'm not positive, but I think you have to be an NHRDA member to compete. I paid $40 for a yearly membership. I'm sure you could sign up at the track as well. I don't know how much on top of that the entry fee would be. I posted a question over on the NHRDA forum asking just that. I'll post back in here when I receive an answer.

Ok, I got word that for the Cordova race the gates open at 10:00am and entry fee for the ET brackets will be $35.

HMMM Hopefully I will have my HPOP installed by then. I'll have to get the helmet from my buddy then, I doubt my truck is fast enough but better be safe than sorry.
