Diesel Extravaganza!!

Hey just wanted to ask if any of you are going to Terre Haute, In on August 24-26 to see this event. Me and some buddies went last year and it was a blast. If any of you wanted to meet up and cruise on down there that would be cool. We are going to leave that Thursday night so we can beat the traffic. That's one of the better pulls I go to every year. I hope to make it this year but the birth of my son may prevent that. He is due the 22nd.
As for the pull it's set up really nicely. There is a good break in the action for you to leave and get food, and catch a quick nap before finals begin. But do yourself a big favor and bring some cushions for your arse, those wooden benchs will kill it even if your wasted.

I know that feeling my son was born in 2005 on the 22nd so I didn't make the pull but made it last year and will be there this year with a few folks. We sit in the infield more room to move around when the butt needs air.

I've been to this event... and like it. Unfortunately the date falls right on top of another event, and I don't know which I will be attending.

I think Nationals is on the same weekend also isnt it? Anyway I loved this event, a bunch of sweetass trucks blowin blacksmoke every where.

I have never been in a "bombvoy" before, it'd be a short one but fun.

As for Nationals, talking US Nationals at IRP? That event is the 29th-3rd.
