I also am addicted...but, I archery hunt for deer up until Thanksgiving when the guns mess them up so bad it's not even funny. Then the Benelli comes out and we're out in the fields after Canadas all the way into January!! Here is a picture of one night last fall.

I enjoy it, and I'm pissed that I'm missing it this year! Bad enough to miss a year, but a year with a brand new pup sitting at home no less. Luckily I have a buddy taking her out so she gets some field time. Here she is on her first weekend out. He had to tease me with this pic.

Our season opened here last saturday. I made it out sunday and was able to scrape out 4 ducks and a specklebelly goose. I won't have many other opportunities to hunt until I graduate from the police academy at the end of the month.
