Just went duck hunting last Sunday, my first time but I had tons of fun. I got 3 mallard drakes. Can't wait til' season starts up again and the geese start flying so I can really throw the steel.

Is anybody hammerin' them yet. I've only been out a few times with no success yet. Was out the other day and had boat motor probs after shooting at (and missing) a greenwing. Ducks go out here (PA) Saturday but ducks and geese come in in NY Saturday. I live on the border so it is easy to hunt both states but the whole area is not good for birds but I still love it.

Good job on the ducks and good luck on the snows. I have to drive a few hours to even see snows. Saw some in Maryland last year but they didn't come into range. We were only set up for Canada's tho. Hoping to get out Friday, Sat, Sun, and Mon. My new truck is finally here and I hope it is ready to go tomorrow.

Normally I would say SWEEEEEET. But I just heard Ford put out a recall on bands and you can send them to me for recall work.

I was out this morning in NY had some Woodies swimming up the creek toward me when all of the sudden they spooked and flushed and flew away without a shot fired. I thought somehow they made me then I realized there was a five point standing on the bank right across from me which was only 10 yds. I was so keyed on the ducks I never saw him. I stood still and he crossed and came onto the bank within 10 feet (yes I said feet not yds) of me and just moseyed on his way. That's what I love about waterfowling. You just never know what your gonna see.

Sorry so long just had to share.
