Spring Turkey Season

Am I the only one who is chomping at the bit for spring turkey season to get here?! I'm hoping to get my oldest daughter a shot at her first gobbler.....last year we had a little run in with a skunk that messed up our hunt.

Would love to go turkey huntin' (with my bow), just don't have the time, vacation is saved for riding and deer & elk hunting.

I shot three pigs last weekend one was 375 with 4 1/4 inch tusks.....

what part of the country are you in i hunt in abilene tx were coverd up in hogs but still havent shot a boar w/ large tusk

but yea cant wait for spring turk im gona let my 7y old take a shot at one he is getting bored w/hogs wanted to shoot a spike or doe but im holden off till next year maybe a gobbler will ease his wait

yea had him on rabbits,varmits and hogs for 2 years we typically let the kids take a spike or doe each year i dont feel comfortable leting him shoot over 50yards pluse he cant sholder any thing over a youth .223 but on our lease kids are crack shots by 12 very well supervised of corse

wow, even in montana (where i grew up) you can not shoot anything but varmits and prairie dogs before twelve...thats awsome.....
