SPRING TURKEYS, POST 'EM UP!

I shot two turkeys today, one was mounted on a hen when we came over the rise so I put him to rest at 50 yds with some 3 1/2" #5 heavishot and a dead coyote choke tube.

The second was a tom my partner was supposed to take and as he started to run off he was just going to watch him leave so I pumped him too! We are allowed 3 in the spring, so I figured I might as well try to fill my quota! My buddy was PISSED I shot his turkey but he wasn't even shouldered up on him so it became MY turkey! LOL

Good looking birds. We don't have spring turkey season in my county because there trying to bring the numbers up

One was 9" and the one that was humping the hen on the road was 11"

Great Catch! I wish I knew where a good Turkey spot was here in MT. I'm jealous!

This last Friday I went out and lined these two Toms up and killed both of them with one head shot!
I shot them with a 12ga. 3 1/2" Heavishot #5 out of a Heavishot "dead coyote" choke tube at about 50yds.
