Finally Got Him!!!!

I finally got my mount back from the taxidermist. I liked it so much that I told him to go ahead and mount the other deer I killed.

What do you guys think?

I don't really know. Thats not the deer those antlers were on. That cape is off the other deer I am getting mounted. I wasn't going to mount this one because I was already getting the other one mounted, so I didn't save the cape. Then you guys talked me into mounting this rack instead so I had him switch them out. Now I'm getting the other one mounted also. The deer that was sporting that rack was a little older. The taxidermist guessed 3 1/2.

Here is that cape and the antlers I'm getting mounted now:

Good looking deer!! Small bodied tho, must be a western thing! The deer around southern Indiana are huge!! One of the does I tagged this year weighed almost 190lbs!

That deer only weighed about 120 field dressed I think. These southern Oklahoma deer just don't get real big. They'll go over 200 in northern OK close to Kansas though.
