Well just read that there is a new world record Elk. It was taken in late September in Utah. Here is a pic of the Monster.

that thing is huge... but I'm not really a big fan of where you go to hunt that is guided.... Hell they already know how big they are and were they are and were they go during the day takes the fun out of it is u ask me

That sux, I realize that its a sport and all, but geez, what a magnificent animal, and it's dead just because someone wanted a record.

Now don't get me wrong in the least, I aint no tree huggin, squirrel kissin, greenpeace lovin, everybody just get along, liberal, but to kill that beast for the only reason of a record seems wrong.
