Finding a Sig 556 Rifle

Hey everyone. I need help.

I am trying to find a Sig Sauer rifle, the Sig 556 SWAT. It seems as though my local resources have dried up and was wondering if anyone out there might know where I can get one. I have tried Gunbroker.com, but would rather not go that route if I don't have to.

Maybe even if there are some dealers here that might be able to locate it. Everything will done by the book, ie transfered to my local FFL.

So any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer

Im not sure how gun dealers work. But these guys probably have it. Mackey's Landing Firearms - Home Its about 2 hours from my house and they have TONS and i mean TONS of guns.

The 556 all by itself is muzzle heavy. I am prepared for the SWAT to be a little more since the quad rail is aluminum. I believe the SWAT is .9 pound heavier. Most of that has to be the rail. But I am guessing they added the weight of the forearm grip and light.

broken pic. anything swat has to be a cool gun. good luck. i say go to your local gun store and ask him if he can order it. thats what i did with my mini 14

Been there, done that.

Gander Mountain is really my only hope at this point. They have the regular 556 in stock, but they have been looking for a week for the SWAT. Other dealers local are just plain azzhats. One guy told me today I would never find a Sig rifle anywhere. I guess he doesn't know where to look. Most locals just tell me I am out of luck. Only Gander and East Orange Shooting Sports are willing to help me. We have a show coming up right after Thanksgiving, so if I haven't found it by then, I will see what's available at the show. However, I feel the cost at the show is going to be artificially high. Just my thoughts.
