lol the gun. 223 or 22-250 is a perfect round for that kind of hunting. got the job done though. i'm assuming you also hunt big game with your 300

Na i use that gun for eveything from coyote, bobcat, to elk and deer. great cal. eather that or a 257 weatherby mag. Both GREAT cal's. In all honesty i wasnt to shoot the cat. he just gave me a great shot i had to take. was acually out there white tail deer hunting lol.

What kind of cat is it? Bobcat? Why kill the cat? was it killing you livestock or pets? Do you eat them? Or is it a trophy mount? Is that kind of cat common in Texas?

Ya why a cat?? That is crazy in itself that you actually have cats like that running around and people hunt them?? Around MN here people mostly hunt deer I guess, that is so crazy to me... Nice shot though..
