Poor huntin weather

This weather got anyone elses deer hunting all screwed up? It's like 18* blowing 30 mph and lots of ice on the ground. Now its starting to snow pretty heavy. Don't mind the snow but the ice has the entire state of OK shut down. lol...i was just talkin to Big Tone and hes stuck in the house and out of Skoal... he said he had over an inch of ice on the ground and on his PSD!

Just got back from fixen the skoal problem, If anybodys in northeast Oklahoma stay home!!!!! Ice is comming down in sheets, and still have snow comming from the west to go on top of it. Had to get out and lock in the front hubs to get up the little hill in front of my house, ground temp is still pretty warm so wont stay to long, but its gonna get alot worse before it gets better!

Man I feel for ya'll. Down here in SC, we've had highs of 70 about every day. No cold weather at all to drive the ducks down. Season will be over before they get here. Deer huntin is slow also.

I'm thinken duck arent gonna be a total bust saw some yesterday, finally; and got about 25 big canadians camped out on the big pond behind my house.
Dear season is a double edged sword, nice ones are out there but veryfew and far between, deer are way over populated. Easy to get a doe to make some chili with though!

Even here in Phoenix it's cold and blowing (at least cold for Phoenix is like 35 degrees)... If I were in our usual hunting unit it would be about 10 degrees with some snow and blowing... Wouldn't be any fun for sure but at least I'd be hunting .... No tags this year ...

Ken....

I would have to disagree, My father went out this moring and said there was 7-10 inches of snow on the ground at my ranch. He also said that he hasent see so many deer running.
