First Deer with a Bow

Well Im happy as a tick, I bought my first bow this year, decided to pick up a new hobby. I was told by the pro shop and numerous other hunters to shoot the first legal deer I put my sights on. Well opening day I got a 3 pt. I know its not a trophy but Im a meat hunter anyway, The best part is when I took the bow hunters safety course the arrogant bastards said none of us would get a deer for seven years. So know Im on a mission to fill my DMPs

Most do have to hunt for years before getting their first deer, much less a buck.

That's awesome. Congrats. The more people that hunt the better off we'll be against animal rights groups and all the others that want to stop people from controlling animal populations while putting food on the table. Keep it up!

If you know how to hunt then taking deer is easy no matter what weapon you choose. It is a matter of being profecient with the weapon your using.

Thats awesome! I can't wait to kill something with my bow be it a rabbit or grouse, hopefully a black bear tho...deff. alot more thrill taking an animal with a bow..as the nuge says god bless the spirt of the wild!
