Browning auto loader question

I always wanted a nice Browning auto loader, well I was at Gander Mountain today and they had a used Browning Gold Hunter in almost excellent condition. It had a scratch on the receiver, and looked like someone hit the butt of the stock real good on a hard corner, but I can live with it as it's not that bad, other then that it looks like it's hardly been fired, they're asking $549 for and I tried getting them down to $500 but they wouldn't budge, the said it's only been there for 2weeks, any one know anything about this model? I read some articles on the net and it's gotten some great reviews. sound like a good deal? I figured I'd wait a little and see it they would come down some more, or if it's a really good deal go back tomorrow and get it. what you guys think?

I work at the firearms section at the local gander part time. Actually been looking for a steal of a deal on a gold hunter or gold fusion (no longer being made). We have a gold hunter in our store for 599 used in good condition. If this info is any good for you hope it helps. Really good gun however, my uncle has one in 20ga and loves it, I have wanted one for a while since I shot his at some trap last year.

very nice gun. i've had one for a few years. it is what they replaced the auto 5 with when they discontinued them. sounds like the price is good too. you will not regret buying that gun.
