Hog Hunting in South Louisiana

This is what I call a 'retriever'.
I'm still having trouble getting him to bring the pig to me.

I would say with all my years living in southern Louisiana that is not photoshopped I've seen that before. I've even seen them try to jump in the boat with you lol

No it isn't.

It's a big crocodile with a wart hog in it's mouth. The pic didn't come from LA, but from Nigeria, IRC. Found it on Snopes 2-3 years ago.

that may be true,....but it's extremely common here......I found out the hard way....thats why I carry my .40 with me when I go 4 wheeling now.

there are (2) 12 footers where I 4 wheel,....as I was riding in my buggy I noticed them,.....they noticed my son....that was 100 yards away. I turned around and floored it,....yelling at my son to get away from the water.....if I hadn't seen them, and kept heading in the opposite direction......I would have had one less tax deduction this year.....not good.

The only place in North America where Crocodiles live is extreme south FL.

What you have are alligators. The pic shows a croc.

Nit picky? Maybe. What if someone kept calling your SD a Dodge?

That's not a "wart hog". That would be considered a ferral hog.

The warthog or common warthog (Phacochoerus africanus, "African Lens-Pig") is a wild member of the pig family that lives in Africa.

You wouldn't want someone confusing your PSD with a Chebby.

Last time I looked, Nigeria was in Africa. And yeah, it was a wart hog, the other pics I saw clearly showed it, although this one doesn't.

As long as they don't confuse it with a gasser, I'm happy!
