8 pointer the neighbor shot!

I'll get pics of it later but the story is funny! I guess the neighbor has been having problems with someone knocking over his 3D target and thought it was kids. Well yesterday morning at 6:45 a.m. he found the culprit! I guess he walked into his kitchen to get something to drink and there 20 yards from his house was a nice 8 pointer preparing to mount his 3D target. He had one of his boys hold the door open while he shot the buck with his cross bow! I didn't believe him till I walked up and seen the blood trail for myself! Lucky!

Thats awsome. I have heard of guys shooting deer in the back of their trucks that they thought were dead, but never while getting busy with a blow up deer

He told me he ran the camcorder of it for a couple of minutes before deciding to shoot it! All I know is that the rut is in high gear here! I've heard of guys using decoys but i always thought it was a joke!

Yeah, I have heard of guys using decoys too, kind of like turkey hunting. But that is cool, would love to see that video.

And all he had to do was travel from the kitchen window to the door.... Geeeezzzz I wish it were that rough around here... Much less having to have a tag which is drawn for a given unit...

Ken....
