Deer Hunting Trip??

Hey, I live in sunny Florida with beaches and themeparks. The problem I have is I love to deer hunt with my sons. I am looking for a place to take my sons hunting this fall. I would love to take them to a family farm or private land to hunt. We would bring our toyhauler, fourwheelers and supplies and stay in it. I even have treestands that I could bring so all we would need is land to hunt. We would obey all of your request and be respectful of your property. Looking for a place in the southeast due to fuel prices these days. Thanks

OK, I'll bite. Good luck with the search. I know that a trip that you seek could run anywhere from$5000 and up(WAY UP) down in South Texas. I'm probably a little farther than you would want to travel, but some years have a cull or two to take out. Not sure about this year due to the lack of rain. The deer will still be there, but the quality is more difficult to discerne under these conditions.

New Mexico has a ton of hunts like this, check things like craigslist and thrifty nickle for tags lil closer to november. I know of a ranch that sells their tags for 800 a hunter. We have what they call Desert Mule Deer. Lil smaller than Rocky Mountain Muley's like you'll find in Colorado. I have out of state and in state hunted RMMule up in colorado, they are quite fun.
