Did you get it in Carmichael? I grew up there and have taken my fair share of "wildlife destructing property" with pellet guns years ago

Pellet gun hell, I shot it with my Winchester SuperX2, and a 3 1/2" Heavishot Magnum Turkey Load #5! Yes in Carmichael. I talked it over with my neighbor who's garden was getting torn up also. I quartered it and skinned it and gave him a breast and leg.

I made some lemon stir fry out of the breast on Saturday, over a little Zatarans....that's the stuff dreams are made of!

That is a fact! I had this really nice plot scouted out last season and it was LOADED WITH HUGE TOM'S.
We found the roosting trees, the paths they take to water, to feed, to rest EVERYTHING! I mean we scouted this thing for DAYS.

Come opening day, we quietly crept into position between the roosts and the water, got ready and NOTHING! No fly down calls, no answering my locater call Zero. After being there for two weeks they "misteriously" dissapeared.

The last weekend of the season. THEY WERE BACK

the bird i wanted this year lives right behind my sisters house in a housing development ,its a double beard at leat 9 inches long if not 10,so i really wanted him bad , didnt want to shoot him with a shotgun , so i bow hunted him several times which i thought would be cool too, could have shot him with a gun a couple times , he is still there , saw 3 more nice birds thruout the year there too ,ill get him eventually
