From the sounds of it, you are going to need something relatively small, powerful, and easy to get to. I would stick to something you feel comfortable with.

Something interesting about concealed carry that I have found over the years, is that if you don't tell people you have it on you, they don't know.

I have carried every day since I turned 21 and been at the same job too. The boss knows I carry, and so do some of the people that work in the office with me. However, their are people that have been there for 5, 6, 7 years that walk into a gun conversation we might be having and invertible they ask if I carry. I have no problem telling them, but when I tell them and show them, they don't believe it. They ask me if I have always carried because they have never noticed. That's when I tell them, that's the point of concealed carry, your not supposed to know.

So my point is, you may not be allowed to have a gun where you work, but if you don't tell anyone, no one is going to find out until you have to use it. And at that point, I would rather have my life than my job.
