Just got to my hunting camp, got everything unloaded and went out to make sure my rifle was sighted in. I found a tree that was a 100 yards from my truck since i was planning on using the bed as a bench. As I'm walking to this tree i take a step and feel something roll under my right foot, as i step off i hear the sound nobody likes to hear. I just about shat myself. His head came up and he was pissed. I'm wearing jeans and tennis shoes. He starts heading away from me and I'm looking to see if there were anymore. The only thing that saved me was the good lord, the fact that it was cold, and he was stretched out. I must have stepped close to his head. My dad saved me when i was kid, one more step and i would have been ankle deep in one. Still have the tail. 10 rattles and a button. Not to mention I'm up here by myself. 6 years i have hunted this Lease and that was my first encounter. Not the way I wanted to start this trip. Hope it gets better.

Yep, that will make you have to clean your britches. Walking a field one time with my dad and his friend when I was younger and all of a sudden, my dad's friend threw me backwards so hard I fell down. I was about to put my foot down on a 5 footer that was coiled. Good thing is was January.
