Pray for a weather change.

Leaving today after work for a week of archery elk/deer hunting in E. Oregon. It's been very hot this year so far and I 've got a feeling the Rut wont start til October. Hoping and praying for a change in the weather.

Hope so too. I remember the hot Oregon hunting seasons all to well.

Got back yesterday.

As always the hunting trip was a success. Walked at least 10 miles a day in the woods, saw lots of wildlfe, enjoyed Gods creation.

No elk though. Saw a total of 6, just to hot and crunchy to get bow close. The animals just were not moving much.
