Glad to hear y'all did good Bobby. We did alright both days we hunted. I was beginning to worry that first mornin' but about an hour after sun up the birds were everywhere. We had so much fun I didn't wanna come home.
Between hunting and target shooting we shot for nearly 12 hours STRAIGHT on Sunday. We played some pretty cool shooting games too.

You need 2 cases of shells, and a case of Jack to start out with!

Then you need to find someone to dress up in a deer suit!

We did long range competitions with various weapons and a few all gun shoots where you'd take shots from a number of weapons and we'd add scores. We also did a station shoot with a crap load of weapons - two shots and you'd run to the next one. Three of those stations had rifles where you'd do standing sitting and prone position shoots. That one ended having to run back across the start and fire one shot from a shotgun into the target to finish. And for the record Curlysue one that one!
It was an AWESOME time!

We had a pretty good hunt Saturday, with low cloud cover. I had at least one bird for each Bud Light I killed. Monday was a different story. The doves came back with oxygen masks, afterburners, and bulletproof vests. Only hit 3 all afternoon.

Didn't they change the limit a year or so ago were it didn't matter what ya had (morning or white wing) as long as it wasn't over the max limit? Perdy sure that is what it was down here last year.
I need to check on that before season opens here the 21st...................not that we will have any dove anyway
