A friend of mine bought a .40 baby eagle recently and really likes it!
He uses it for his carry gun. The only thing that we have found is that it dosn't seem to like aftermarket mags. Stick with the factory mags and it's flawless!

I don't know much about the desert eagle pistols other than their reputation is top notch. I've got a glock 23, .40cal and the round itself is wonderful!

I carry a Glock 33 and thats a .357 SIG. Now thats a cartrage with a kick!... It's basicly a .40 case necked down to 9mm or .357.... It was ment for .357 ballistics in a autoloading gun!.... Check around might be able to get a barrel for it..

I hae shot the baby desert eagle 40 and didn't like it. It didn't seem to be too acurate. The one I shot had combat sights. Considering I have a Desert Eagle 44Mag And a Desert Eagle 50Cal and BOTH big guns put a tighter grouping at 40yds than the baby eagle did. I'm a very accustomed shooter so I'm pretty sure it wasn't me. PLUS I have a Sig. 40, and an H&K 40 and both of those also put up tigher grouping at 40yds.

Sorry, but If I were you I'd pass on it. GET THE REAL THING! The 44Mag & 50 Cal have such heavy compensation springs in the slides they BARELY kick. Maybe the kick of a .357 revolver. Which is not bad considering the grainage your putting down range!

HA-HA, I didn't see your last post! The beretta is a good handling handgun, I know the beretta 9mm the Army uses is a piece of junk, but what do you expect from the low bidder?

Congratulations on your new Piece, I always LOVE buying new ones!!!
Like my Great Grandpappy once told me: "son you never sell your guns, just by new ones"
