No more dangerous than the woods of East Tenn. I'm from Ky, and as long as you stay on the land you're supposed to be on then you should be fine. If you do run across something like that, then make your exit from the area. Nothing to worry about though, the sherrif's control most of the weed out there.

Don't wear your Bullwinkle hat in the woods.

Its the same way where I am from out in Oregon. Lots of pot fields and Meth labs. If you do find something like that then beat a hasty retreat without drawing attention to yourself. Just be glad its eastern KY. In Oregon we also have the Cambodians who come to pick mushrooms and they will shoot you for being to close to their shroom patches.

You should always carry...there's the random pack of wild dogs here and there...just about everwhere in the country that's true though.

my family is from Hazzard, KY.... and well it is one of those small towns that you really don't wanna mess around in... or even stop at a bar... most likely you won't even be able to stay there long enough to get a beer.... they take care of their own around that area
