Big Buck Contest 2009
Okay folks... I have talked to bigcountrysg and he is too busy at this time to get this going... so I figured I might as well get it going since opening season for us here in Indiana is this Thursday..... and yes the same rules as last year.. and please make sure to have the date stamp on the photo...
Big buck contest will begin Oct.1 and go till Jan. 31 I know seems like a long time. But I would like to give the oppurtunity to all members for this. So what do you have to do to get in this contest this year. Just post your entry in this thread. No need to pm me. Rules 1 one entry per member 2 must be legally taken game. This is on the honor system folks. I can not keep track of all the different states laws on deer hunting. 3. Pic must have date stamp on it from the camera. This is to verify when the trophy was taken. 4. Any member with Good standing status can enter. How is the winner determined at Jan, 31 2400 2010 all entries will be stopped. On Feb. 1 2010 I will post a pole for the members to vote on. The 3 biggest bucks will be picked. After that it will be on all the members to vote on which one they believe is the best. At my old club all of our quality bucks were taken in the middle of the year. Not a single one it the rut. We always missed the rut. But now I am at a new place that has never been hunted so it will take me a few years to get used to how much different it is.
