Big Buck Contest 2009

i shot this last year at about 100yds
6pts and 130lbs isnt huge..but its my first with the omega

6 pts i count 5 and a nub that dosent make a point did it break off when you dropped him or what? nice buck bigger than mine. ( i didnt get one this year)

Sat in the South blind this evening. Food plot is doing extremely good, thanks to the early rain. Saw 18 deer in all. 12 doe and 6 bucks. Out of the bucks, i would have pulled the trigger on 3. Ive been stalking a 16 point typical in the thick misquite at the East blind, I hope he gets doe crazy and starts moving more when it get colder! Ill get yall some game cam pics posted one day, we have a great deer program and id love to show my boys off!

I saw a nice 10pt at one of my spots 3 weeks before the season opened but haven't seen him since. I've got does and little bucks crawlin all over me but haven't even drawn the string back yet. I had 4 does come less than 10 yards this morning just before it got light. 2 buddies killed nice 9 and 11 pointers less than a mile from me last week so it's given me a little motivation to get out there!

I was told by a certified scorer that it had to be at least an inch to be scored.

I could be wrong but that broken g1 appears to be at least an inch. So guys quit picking on him and just say "good kill".

good stuff.. i thought that was an inside joke with my team. im going to have to print those out and put them around the base...the sad thing is, that someone will really have hurt feelings about this.
