Think I'm ready!!
Went out to set my Rifle up for Sept 1st- opening day of deer season. It performed flawlessly last year, but I wanted to check it again anyway. Its a Ruger Mk II 270, and Im shooting Remington 130gr Core Lokts. My shots for deer and hog will be anywhere from 20 yrds to 130 yrds. All 40 stands are set up that way where we hunt. With that yardage in mind, I like to be 1 1/2 -2 inches high at 100 yds. That equals 3/4 - 1 inch low at 25. I set up the bench today and fired 6 rds (3- 2shot groups) with cooling time between. I had to make a slight adjustment to the left after shots 1 and 2. the scope settled in on 3 and 4 after the adjustment. 5 and 6 are exactly what I was after.

Shane is that the best you got?
Looks good, hard to beat the Ruger/270 combo. Good luck. |

Those are impressive shots! If only I could teach my brother to shoot like that.
