Dyno Question?

Hey guys so Im going to the Dyno day at Danville performance this sunday and am trying to decide if I want to dyno my truck or not and just had a few questions about it. Would I be safe to dyno my truck even though my trans is stock on these stage 1s. As far as worrying about breaking stuff the tranny is in good shape with about 25k on it.

I would get three runs so im thinking about doing one on my daily tune one on street and one on extreme. Just wondering if it would be safe to do this.

Thanks

Well usually they let you run on one setting of the chip. They have you run 3 pulls this allows them to get you an accurate reading of your out put at the wheels. So I would run everything maxed out. Highest setting on your chip and go for it.

Now your trans should be ok for this it is nothing more then driving down the road hammering on the truck.

With the e40d, keep it in OD. Have them start the pull around 60-65mph.

Don't let it downshift.
