2004 6.0 Dyno Numbers

Here's the best one I've got so far...

Engine: Late 2004 (2005 style heads)
Mileage: 284,000
Block: Stock
Heads: Head Job (Valves, Guides), Head Studs, Black Onyx Head Gaskets
Turbo: Stock
Injectors: Stock (Some newly replaced, though not sure how many)
Exhaust: Completely Stock (Cat still in place)

429 HP @ 2750 RPM
845 Ft./Lbs. @ 2630 RPM

How did you get the trans to stay in gear? We tried dyno'ing my '06 and we couldn't figure out a way to lock the trans. Had the gear selector in 3, O/D on and off.. trans kept shifting.

Having it 3rd isn't gonna get into O/D......if I'm not mistaken, I believe the truck can be tuned for the T/C lock up earlier once you get in O/D so it doesn't downshift on you

Trans can be tuned to stay locked and not shift.
