I guess they just don't get it Scott. What kind of shop is it?? Do they work on diesels?

On another note... 150 per hour is steep, and 2 hours to run a truck is rediculous.

They do high performance on a bunch of different vehicles. I think tomorrow while I am at work. I am going to ask how much does it cost to run my mountain bike.

They're expensive indeed. But surely what they meant by "only 140 hp out of a 6.0" was "140 hp on top of stock power" which computes to 465 hp, which is respectable I'm sure. Either way, they don't know how to properly express themselves and charge to much, find someone else.

They might have misunderstood you even more, they probably think you want some type of tuning done as well besides just strapping down and spinning the rollers to see what the numbers are with the tunes "you" already have on the computer be it a chip, SCT, or whatever.

There's a Volkswagen speed shop with a dyno about 10 minutes from my house, their prices were high as well, it was over $100 bucks/hour I think, plus they mentioned they don't have some "sensor" that reads the torque? I thought all dynos read the torque, but somehow convert to get HP numbers?

At first I thought they didn't want to see over 600 ft/lbs of torque on their dyno since it's probably doesn't make it up there a lot. LOL

Dynos measure the torque the motor produces down to the wheels and then from there horsepower is calculated with the formula: hp =
(tq * rpm )/5252.

300 bux to run your truck is a JOKE. Shops charge about 100-150 an hour to DYNO TUNE your car or street tune it not strictly for pulls. Last time i went i got 5 pulls for 60 bux. Usually its about 75 for 3 pulls on the dyno with time in between to modify something if you want.

I am like don't worry about it. If your not listening to what I am saying or if your not reading the info I am giving you fully. I am not going to run my truck on your dyno. Unless you let me operate your dyno.

I think Rodslinger needs to come to Michigan. Prove to these people that Hp is made out of the 6.0L or even onefastgranny.

These people still are asking me when I am able to bring my 6L to run on there dyno. Can I borrow someones truck with a 6L in it please. Cause I don't have one.

Would you like me to send you my dyno sheets??? Better yet would you like for me to give them a call??????? 140 HP is all they have seen???? I got that in my 1 tire that fires!!!!
