I gotta boat that I'll sell for $500. It's a project to say the least.

Yeah, this one is to the extreme. Knew it when I bought it 3 years or so ago. Had the foot rebuilt and spent a little over $500 on just that. Got new bilge pumps for it, tuned up the engine some new saftey equipment, re-wired the trailer, but it still needs works. The bellows need to be replaced and the floor is soft. At this point I just don't want to put the time and effort into it. I'd rather just cut my losses and the next time I won't buy a project, I'll buy something I can put directly on the water.

Here's my little 14 ft Jon I just bought.I painted the trailer and got both camo seats in it now. I'm gonna build a deck with some storage up front once I get out for summer. It runs pretty good with the little 9.8 HP on the back

Has a 3.0 140 hp I/O Merc engine. Last time I turned it over it started just fine and ran. It's a 17.5' (I think) bow rider. I'll get some pictures of it for you when I get back from vacation.

Well the Excursion made it down here with no problems. I promised the truck when we left that if it took care of us on this trip I would take care of it when I got home. Been looking and reading up on stuff from Suncoast and the like. Don't think I can afford a full blown built transmission, but I'd like to put a few nice parts in it.

That's a nice platform. Could be a good boat for the right person. Just out of curiosity, what make?

Congrats. I've always heard good things about Suncoast.
