help please! need a diesel shop.

hey guys i had an issue with my truck not too long back is started ideling really rough with white smoke in the exhuast. They told me that my egr and oil cooler when out and they though that i had a broken rocker or lifter. I said ok fix it, well then they called me back and said the topend of my motor was fine and then told me that i had low cylinder pressure on three of my cylinders and that i needed a whole new long block and it was going to cost me over 13,000 dollars. i told them to kiss my *** and picked up my truck. i might have understood if they tried to sell me a short block but a longblock after just telling me my topend was fine wtf! bottome line is i cant find a diesel shop anywhere in savannah or near by besides the dealership. can anyone help me out with a shop somewhere in the area thanks!

I don't know of any shops down there in Savannah, however Mikey might know. He goes to school there. I'll point him to this thread...

Look up Roberts Diesel. They're in Garden City. They used to do all of the work on our ambulances.

what year is it? i assume its either a 6.0 or 7.3 correct?

if it is a 6.0, check this out... Ford Powerstroke 6.0 Reman

if a 7.3 let me know, i can probably find a way to help you there too. But yes Hinesville Ford, is a phenomenal dealer, they have been taking care of us, and isn't far from Savannah
